Full Job Description

The duties comprise of site collections of waste Including waste compound management , laundry, supplies and specimen collections from local GPs/ hospitals and support COVID to patients in South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and Lincolnshire., + The collection of waste carts from collection points on the northern general site and transport to a central compound area. To empty the carts using the equipment provided, collection of carts for washing, distribution of clean carts to appropriate areas.
+ The collection of sacks of dirty linen from Trust buildings /areas to Laundry.
+ Delivery of sacks of clean linen to appropriate Trust buildings /areas.
+ Delivery/ collection, of stores and supplies to all areas of the hospital sites.
+ Collection and delivery of samples and drugs including isotopes, and delivery / collection of mail /supplies to / from doctor's surgeries and various clinics in Sheffield and surrounding areas.
+ To drive the hospital courtesy bus when required, transporting staff, patients and visitors
+ Delivery and collection of equipment and small items of furniture on and off site.
+ Delivery and collection of medical notes.
+ Collection of cages and transport to recognised collection point
