Driver Supervisor

+ Managing and investigating vehicle / personal incidents and any road traffic accidents.
+ Investigating and resolving near miss / hazard reports.
+ Weekly vehicle inspections / gate checks.
+ Responsible for ensuring the downloading of VU and Drivers' tacho cards and reviewing infringement reports with Drivers.
+ Ensuring vehicles are presented for service on time and inspections (inc. LOLER) are completed as per company standards.
+ Responsible for training, as well as delivering toolbox talks.
+ Complete yearly driving and pre-employment driving assessments once trained
+ Debrief drivers post shift daily
+ Occasional cover for Driver sickness / absence as required (LGV licence is therefore essential).
+ Weekend working needed on occasions to cover current full-time employee when he takes holiday. Can be as over time or days of in lieu
+ What are the requirements?
+ It is essential to have an LGV (CAT C) Licence and Driver CPC Card.

+ Previous supervisory experience preferred.
+ Valid First Aid Certificate (training can be provided for the successful candidate).
+ IOSH qualification (training can be provided for the successful candidate).
+ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including basic PC skills - Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

+ Salary £37,051.90 per annum / £15.78 per hour
+ Start and finish times: 07.15AM - 17.00PM
+ Working 45 hours per week
+ Must be able to work Bank Holidays
+ Extra £200.00 Supervisor payment per month included in salary
+ Will need to cover weekends when needed, i.e. holidays & sick
