Full Job Description

  • Supporting the driver with handling goods while following a strict process

  • Assisting with loading vehicles whilst ensuring load is adequately secured

  • Taking ownership of paperwork

  • Working as a banksman when required

    Customer service driven

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good all-round geographical knowledge

  • Multi drop experience including manual handling is preferrable, but not essential as full training will be provided

    Here at GXO we are looking for Drivers Mate to join our team in Northampton. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, 47 hours per week, covering Monday to Friday shift pattern with start times of between 04:00 and 07:00.
