Drivers Mate

Pay Rate: £28,554.24 Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday- Friday (Start times between 05:00- 08:00AM) Location: Exeter, EX1 3QN DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Drivers Mate to play a vital role in our distribution service at Tradeteam, Exeter. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Accompany a driver to complete multi drop deliveries of alcohol to pubs, clubs and restaurants
• Maintain regular contact with the Transport team and advise of all problems preventing completion of delivery on time
• Support the driver with deliveries/ instructions/ POD usage

• High levels of manual handling involved within the role- must be physically fit (50-120kgs being lifted multiple times a day)
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions/ instructions
• Previous practical experience as a Driver's Mate, within a logistics or similar environment (Desirable)
