Drivers mate / drayman

Pay Rate: £28,048.59 Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday - Friday Location: Tradeteam - Totton SO40 3NB DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driver's Mate to play a vital role in our distribution service. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Assist one of our drivers with multi drop deliveries to pubs, clubs and restaurants
• High levels of manual handling of kegs (50 - 120kg) Therefore must be ok working around alcohol
• Monday - Friday position. Starting from 0500am
• complete relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

• High levels of manual handling are required so you need to be physically fit
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instruction
• Previous practical experience as a Driver's Mate, within a logistics or similar environment would be preferable
