Would you like to join us in supporting those effected by drug and alcohol issues to improve their health and wellbeing?, Based within i-access Drug and Alcohol Service, this Recovery Practitioner role will offer support to adults who use our services in Surrey to help them achieve their recovery goals through 1:1s and structured groupwork packages. The role will involve the following elements:

  • Deliver excellent drug and alcohol services to service users and their significant others, including family members friends and carers, to facilitate positive outcomes.
  • Manage a case load, coordinate and deliver assessment and evidence-based interventions (brief and structured), recovery planning and aftercare planning.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholder across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adherence with all Via policies and Safeguarding principles.
  • The Service i-access is an integrated service delivered in partnership by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust (SABP) and Via is commissioned to provide substance misuse treatment for people aged 18 and onwards in Surrey. This service is an established community Integrated service that is well performing and highly functioning, it consists of both clinical and psychosocial and is CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV & health interventions, OST, and community detox. Via is committed to the ongoing professional development of all our staff. The core hours of this role will be 9am until 5pm.
