DT Technician

We are seeking a Design Technology Technician to join our team at The Victory Academy, providing professional and reliable support to the DT Teaching Team at the Academy. Working closely with teaching staff the successful candidate will support the development and implementation of the technology curriculum, contributing ideas and resources to enhance student learning. Our DT Technician will manage the day to day running of the workshops, ensuring that Health and Safety standards are met throughout the DT accommodation., Our DT Technician will offer technical advice, assistance and guidance to staff and students, and liaising with members of the department regarding activities, scheduling and clubs. The successful candidate will also assist with the supervision of students during practical sessions, providing guidance and support as needed, and encouraging a positive learning experience. Experience in the use of use of CAD programs such as Solid Works and 2D Design and CAM machines such as laser cutters and 3D printers, would be desirable.
