Full Job Description

At Dorset County Hospital we are committed to delivering quality products to our users. We are looking for a dedicated Hardware Engineering Assistant to join our team and support our engineering efforts. This is a fixed term post until June 2025 to work on busy project areas. You will work closely with our engineering team to support the development, testing, maintenance and distribution of hardware components. Experience working for the NHS would be advantageous.

· To assist Hardware Engineers in the build and distribution of hardware across the DCH site.

· To work within agreed boundaries adhering to training standards and information.

· The post holder will work directly with the Hardware Engineers and Service Desk Manager to ensure endpoint tasks are completed as required.

· The post holder will provide a break / fix service for DTI equipment including PCs, laptops, monitors iPads and printers under the direction of the Hardware Engineers.

· Required to act independently within appropriate guidelines, with advice available when required.
