Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, talented and creative Dunstonian Officer to take the lead in developing ever stronger relationships wtithe St Dunstan's College alumni community across the UK and the rest of the world under the guidance of the Director of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations.

The main purpose of the role is to carry on building excellent relations with Dunstonians through a refreshed and innovative alumni programme and calendar of events, with a focus on outstanding communications as well as on expanding the offer of clubs and societies.

It is an exciting time to join St Dunstan's Dunstonian Office as The Dunstonian Association dating back to 1897 should be brought inhouse in the near future for the first time in it's history.

Hours for this role are;

Part time, term time only for 15 hours per week over 2 days or 18 hours per week over 3 days, plus 4 additional weeks during the usual school holidays. The role will require some flexibility as events often take place in the evenings or at weekends.

Salary; £8,175 or £10,122 Actual (£25,644 FTE)

The College will also carry out a check of the Children's Barred List on the successful applicant. Applicants should be aware that it is unlawful for the College to employ anyone to work with children if they are barred from doing so, and it is a criminal offence for a person to apply to work with children if they are barred from doing so.

This role is also exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the College is therefore permitted to ask shortlisted applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
