Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a Duty Manager to help with the running of our successful Ashton Playing Fields.

Located in Woodford Bridge, Ashton Playing Fields boasts a wide range of sports facilities including an 8 lane athletics track, a newly refurbished gym, an astro-turf pitch and grass pitches, long jump/triple jump pits and javelin and shot put area. The location also holds a function hall and meeting room and regularly is used for sporting events.

Working closely with the centre manager, your role will focus on the day to day running of the centre, ensuring that the centre is kept to the highest standard for all who use it., To manage the day to day running of the Centre.
To ensure the Centre is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
To offer exceptional customer service to all users at all times.
To provide key links with groups and clubs.
To comply to all Health and Safety legislation and be aware of your role in managing emergencies and accident reporting.
To work on a shift rota and carry out key holder responsibilities.
To be responsible for cash handling, till use and banking.
To manage staff on shift.
To assist in increasing usage and income.

First Aid at Work Certificate.
Experience of working within the leisure industry for over 2 years is preferred.
Experience of managing staff.
