Full Job Description
As a key member of the Performance, Improvement, Planning and Tactical Operations Leadership team, you will be responsible for the setting and coordination of tactical actions across the Trust to meet the Strategic Commanders intentions., The Tactical Operations Centre are looking for an effective manager with demonstrable experience in delivering clear vision and strategy, to lead on a shift basis the Regional Tactical Operations Centre based in Norwich The role is varied by the very nature of emergency service work and we recommend you read the Job Description and Person Specification attached to understand the role and full requirements for the position. Overarching summary of some of the key responsibilities:
- Optimisation of resources to be available for deployment by the Emergency Operations Control Centres
- Effective liaison with Operational area tactical commanders and Duty EOC managers for in day delivery
- Effective management of Hospital and wider health system escalation, intelligence and coordination
- Performance Improvement and Intelligence information
- Tactical regional command of serious or significant incidents. The successful candidate will be a role model leader by demonstrating effective and appropriate behaviours in both day-to-day operations and in high risk, difficult and distressing situations; being flexible by demonstrating appropriate leadership styles and adapting communication to match the situation and audience.
