Full Job Description
Working Age delivers essential support to 3 million of the most vulnerable in society, whether through ESA, JSA, Maternity Allowance, Sure Start Maternity Grants, Budgeting Loans, Support for Mortgage Interest, Social Fund and Incapacity Benefit. People depend on us to accurately deliver these primary benefits on time, which are crucial and often the only source of income for them.
We deliver these services from offices the length and breadth of the UK. Team members in different locations help to ensure that we are processing cases or answering customer queries to ensure a great customer experience. It is a fascinating, and surprisingly diverse, portfolio of support that we provide.
We are looking for people who will help us deliver key leadership roles across the Working Age Operational Delivery functions.
We welcome applications from candidates who demonstrate inspirational and resourceful leadership to help drive performance and deliver a positive and efficient service to our customers.
We are proud to be part of DWP, which is the Government's largest public service department serving 18 million customers.
We are committed to the Civil Service ambition to become the UK's most inclusive employer and we absolutely welcome and encourage applications from every part of our community, particularly from groups currently underrepresented in our workforce and those with protected characteristics.
As a Disability Confident employer, we also put in place reasonable adjustments to support disabled job applicants and employees.
