Our outstanding SEN school in Camden is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to deliver an engaging curriculum tailored to meet the unique needs of our students. Role Overview: As an English Teacher, you will inspire and empower pupils to develop their literacy skills and foster a love for language. Working within a collaborative and inclusive environment, you will adapt lessons to meet diverse needs, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive academically and personally.,

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons tailored to students with autism, ADHD, and other SEND.
  • Differentiate learning activities to meet individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP goals.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional and social development.
  • Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and therapists to deliver holistic support.
  • Foster confidence, creativity, and resilience in students through innovative teaching strategies.
  • Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve success.

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English or a related subject.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs in a classroom setting.
  • A creative approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt lessons to individual needs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
