Role Overview: As a Science Teacher, you will deliver a dynamic curriculum that sparks curiosity and builds confidence. Working with students aged 11-19, you will use innovative approaches to make science accessible, practical, and exciting for all learners.,

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that are tailored to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Foster a passion for science through hands-on experiments and real-world applications.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, and external specialists to provide a holistic learning experience.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet IEP and EHCP targets, ensuring all students can achieve their potential.
  • Use assessment data to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies., Access to modern facilities and resources to enhance learning.
  • A focus on staff wellbeing, including access to mental health support and work-life balance initiatives.
  • The chance to inspire students and help them discover their potential in science.

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in science.
  • Experience teaching students with SEND, ideally autism or other learning difficulties.
  • Creativity in lesson planning, with an ability to engage students with practical and interactive activities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development in SEND education.
