The Dynamic Support Service is looking for a motivated individual to join the team as Business Administration Apprentice. A Kent County Council Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn and gain a valuable qualification, workplace skills and experience in a large, diverse and rapidly changing organisation.

The Dynamic Support Service is the keyworking delivery programme for Kent and Medway Integrated Care System and fulfils the national plan for supporting autistic children and young people and those with learning disabilities and their families in new and better ways. The programme involves joint working with a wide range of professionals, parents/carers, children and young people.

We are looking for someone with the right attitude who is motivated and keen to learn quickly.

The successful applicant will perform an integral role in the business support function of the Dynamic Support Service to enable the day to day running of the service in accordance with Kent County Council's policies, procedures, and processes.

The successful applicant will have an aptitude for data collection and recording, an enquiring mind and good communication skills. They will be required to apply a high degree of confidentiality to all areas of their work.

Working arrangements - The post will be hybrid, both working from home and also from KCC offices when needed. The contractual work base will be Sessions House, Maidstone, Kent but the postholder will be required to work from any Kent County Council (or allied) office.

The role will be full time (37 hours per week) and will be offered on a 24-month contract.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holder has a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
