This role sits within the centralised Data team, which is at the heart of the DTC department. The Data team plays a crucial role to ensure DTC are making data driven decisions wherever possible, spanning Commercial, Website and Marketing teams. The Data team has has matured significantly in recent years and are now seeking an E-commerce Analytics Lead who will use their experience to advise, challenge and help our business grow. Role and Responsibilities Your key responsibilities With support from 2 internal commercial analysts and an agency team of 10, this role takes responsibility for: Data driven decision-making: Act as the data champion and a strong data representative across the DTC team. Use analysis, along with domain expertise, to collaborate with your peers and persuade leaders to take actions, which will enable business growth.
- Build relationships across the DTC team and develop a clear view of current business priorities and challenges
- Lead matrix team to identify areas of opportunity, along with recommendations, and proactively engage across DTC to unlock this identified opportunity
- Collaborate closely with your peers (Commercial Leads, Marketing Leads and Website Leads) to plan, execute, learn and challenge
- Use your team to champion self-serve data practices across the DTC team, providing coaching and education where appropriate Analytics capability: Accountable for all of DTC's analytical tools and performance reporting, enabling accurate and reliable data across our infrastructure. Own the roadmap of delivery and ensure there is a data development plan, which continues to improve our data maturity.
- Capability development: + Define an approach and roadmap, which will continue to improve our e-commerce data capabilities and our ability to identify commercial growth opportunities: o Covering: reporting developments; new ways of working and education across DTC and beyond; unlocking new data sources; and getting more from our partners o Ensure this approach is aligned with your peer's priorities and is complimentary to DTC's business strategy o Effectively communicate your plan and the benefits this will bring to DTC, along with regular progress updates
- Commercial + UX analytics: + Lead 2 internal commercial analysts and agency analytics team to ensure self-serve dashboard tool (Looker) and all appropriate reports fit business requirements + Lead on insight generation which is clear, concise and can be used to drive action across DTC + Actively participate in DTC trading, campaign and strategy cadence. Use insight and expertise to contribute to decision making
- Data solutions: + Lead agency data solutions team to ensure data infrastructure (GCP) and dashboard solution (Looker) is maintained and developed + Ensure our Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics implementations are functioning as required, by acting as a liaison to our Global technical team + No hands on GCP or implementation experience is required. However, you must be able to work collaboratively with the agency team to manage the roadmap and help problem solve where required Agency management: Responsible for the relationship and output of our analytics agency. Collaborate with the agency team to ensure you meet all business requirements. Create and own the partnership plan, to help deliver against your analytics roadmap.

- Develop and own a partnership plan that continues to improve our capabilities and delivers against multi-year strategic objectives
- Work with internal analysts and agency team to strategies, priorities and deliver against: short and long term objectives; insight generation; and reporting requirements Your key people management responsibilities
- Provide clarity on strategy, team purpose & value and define the key areas of focus and direction.
- Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities.
- Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety.
- Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from LT's and relevant business updates.
- To be accountable for ensuring your team are compliant with company processes and procedures; such as compliance, meeting mandatory business cyclical deadlines, and understanding the company values.
This role requires someone with demonstrable experience in Analytics and Insights, as well as previous experience working with digital analytics tools. We are looking for someone who feels comfortable leading a team and isn't afraid to share their opinion. They should be happy to problem solve, form recommendations and use their expertise to persuade stakeholders with differing levels of analytical understanding. Essential Hard Skills: - Extensive Web Analytics Experience, working with both Adobe and Google solutions
- Confident in translating data to draw conclusions and recommendations, with a clear narrative
- Experience in using and managing implementation of Data Visualisation tools (e.g. Looker) and Data Warehousing tools (e.g. GCP)
- Knowledge of the e-commerce landscape and likely future opportunities & challenges Essential Soft Skills:
- Willing to challenge peers and leaders through questioning, prioritisation and planning
- An ability to lead a team, working on multiple projects for multiple partners at the same time
- Able to translate business priorities in to a complimentary analytics roadmap
