Full Job Description

SVA CAR LAMPS & BODY PANELS, established since 1992, specialises in selling crash repair parts, panels, bumpers, lamps, mirrors, batteries, radiators etc to the trade. We are currently looking for an E-Commerce Assistant to work within the E-Commerce team, helping with content for websites and E-commerce selling platforms such as eBay. The role will be based at our head office in Wembley and is for immediate start. Prior experience in this field is not necessary but an interest is essential. The Company is currently undergoing major expansion plans, especially into E-commerce.

We are a motivated, energetic team with a drive for success. We are seeking a like-minded individual with a keen interest in sales and e-commerce to take on this role and grow with the company., · Monitor daily open marketplace orders & account

· Assist with parts/product information management in the form of creating content for website use, ecommerce platforms and social media

· Creating high quality product listings on eBay, Facebook and other online marketplaces

· Ensuring that listings are of a consistently high standard, including accurate, quality descriptions

· Researching items to ensure they are listed with the correct starting price and that titles contain high performing search keywords

· Working within our brand and photography guidelines to give a consistent look and feel to each marketplace

· Provide excellent customer service in relation to each request/correspondence on both phone and emails

· Monitor customer feedback on Amazon, eBay and highlight areas for concern

· Adhere to Marketplace policies (on-time shipping, cancellations, returns, response time etc.)

· Perform regular product catalogue checks to ensure ongoing quality of listings, troubleshooting and resolving product listing errors when necessary

· Supporting the end-to-end process of reviewing stock, photography, listing and dispatch.

· Manage relations with third party vendors such as courier services and integration specialists to ensure parcel journey has been correctly completed

· Resolve return enquiries, claims, eBay disputes etc.

· Ability to interact with all levels throughout the organization and third-party vendors frequently

· Manage and assist if required with packaging items and working with dispatch team for orders to be sent out to customer

· Carry out general administration tasks such as filing and managing paperwork

· Manage occasional warehouse related tasks such as stock receiving and product auditing

· General administration duties

· Carry out everyday office tasks given by the Manager

  • A strong willingness to learn the job. ( thorough training is provided)

  • Interest in eCommerce, particularly Shopify and eBay

  • Passion for the automotive industry

  • Basic knowledge of car parts and car manufacturers

  • Be commercially aware

  • The capability of working well within a team

  • Self-starter with a professional results-driven attitude and strong work ethic

  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills

  • Strong computer skills, especially the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, GCSE or equivalent (required)
