E-Commerce Optical Assistant

As an E-Commerce Optical Assistant at Vision Express, you’ll be responsible for processing e-commerce orders in an accurate and efficient manner, helping to maximise customer service and business profitability. You’ll need to ensure that orders are processed in line with GOC legislation, and that relevant standards are maintained when processing prescription eyewear.

• Great communication and rapport building to translate professional terminology and maintain accurate records of customer interactions
• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Empathetic and understanding with your customers, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet, to resolve customer queries
• Proactive attitude towards improving processes and enhancing customer experiences, embracing change and adapting to new ideas or technologies to benefit the team and customers
• Familiarity with computer systems, to be able to navigate the relevant software and systems quickly, and efficiently, whilst taking customer queries via phone and email.
