E-GED EMEA Quant Developer

Front office eTrading quant dev team within principle e-trading business, with a business reporting line. All London based

Are you passionate about delivering building robust and scalable core Java server systems and are you motivated to deliver real business value? If so, we are looking for someone like you to help us,

• 3-5 years Java experience
• Low latency event driven programming
• Performance profiling, comparison and optimisation a - Familiarity with market standard encoding (FIX, SBE, StreamType) plus (JMH, Yourkit etc)
• Experience with time series databases a plus
• Adept at picking up new frameworks and enhancing where necessary
• Familiar with working in an agile team, using tools such as Github, Nexus, TeamCity, etc
• UI (HTML5 / Javascript) experience useful but not essential
• Python programming experience useful but not essential
• eTrading experience useful but not essential
• Proactive, collaborative, motivated

• Sit within the principle Equity Derivatives e-trading business and develop next generation etrading solutions
• Add meaningful functionality which will help to grow the business and have a direct impact on revenues
• Create low latency server side solutions, primarily written in Java
• Opportunities to work across the full stack from front end to server
