Full Job Description

The Outreach Podiatrist is responsible for providing high-quality outreach Podiatry services to individuals and groups. This may include but not limited to those vulnerable patients who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, those who are incarcerated or any other situation which prevents a patient from an on-site appointment.

The successful candidate must hold a valid driver's licence and have a car due to the outreach work being offsite.

The post holder will lead on, and deliver a range of care across the service to include (but not limited to and not intended to be exhaustive):

Homelessness in Ealing

Prison services

Community projects which could include drugs and alcohol service

Health promotion

Education/Training to students/volunteers/cadets/Apprentice/work experience/assistants

Support to the volunteers in Podiatry, These will include working with the Homeless, Prison services and any other outreach services we may provide services for. This is will also include providing care in the community clinics and well as doing home visits for routine/high risk/wound care patients.

The Ealing Podiatry service consists of partnership between CNWL and West London NHS. We work together to provide excellent care to our patients and offer a supportive and flexible environment for team members. Including an induction and scope for growth.

The teams are supported in their professional development with regular training and clinical supervision and opportunities to expand their clinical skills.
