Harwich & Dovercourt High School is seeking a dynamic, motivated Early Career Teacher to join the school from July 2025., We also have ECT vacancies for Teacher of English at the following schools:

  • The Colne Community School
  • Philip Morant School and College
  • The Stanway School
  • St Helena School

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Assess and provide feedback
  • Provide care, guidance and support to our young people

Eligibility is based on when you start your initial teacher training course and your qualifications. Payments range from £3,000 to £6,000, applicable subjects are Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Computing. Eligible Sigma schools this year are Thomas Lord Audley School, Clacton County High School, Harwich & Dovercourt High School and Paxman Academy.
