Full Job Description

The Europe Talent Acquisition team is focused on identifying, attracting, and selecting candidates for Early Careers and Experienced Hire opportunities within Scotiabank's Global Banking & Markets (GBM) business across Global Capital Markets, Corporate & Investment Banking, and Support & Control Functions. As the Early Careers Recruitment Coordinator, you will support the UKI Early Careers Manager in a variety of areas with a focus on hiring into campus programmes across UK and Ireland. You will have the opportunity to get involved in all areas of the recruitment cycle and work effectively at all levels, from students and peers to Managing Directors. What You'll Do:

  • Assist with managing campus programme applications via the Applicant Tracking System including screening, creating shortlists, and issuing video interviews
  • Support with student event coordination and delivery both on campus and in the office including organising representatives, workshops, catering, travel etc
  • Oversee and organise panel interviews & assessment centre logistics including booking interviewers, putting together assessor packs and schedules, welcoming candidates and ensuring all feedback is collected for each candidate
  • Maintain relationships and liaise with University societies and Employer teams regarding advertising and marketing of job postings, events and initiatives
  • Ensure recruitment trackers are up to date and manage candidate queries via the Early Careers inbox
  • Support with ad-hoc Talent Acquisition and HR related projects as required

    Recent Graduate with a basic understanding of Banking and Human Resources
  • Previous office experience within a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines (events organisation experience desirable but not essential)
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • A genuine enthusiasm and passion for best practice candidate experience and inclusive recruitment
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, in particular in Excel
  • Flexibility regarding in-office/on campus days in accordance with events and interview schedule. Occasional domestic travel.
