Full Job Description

Gynaecology is unique to other specialities as it encompasses early pregnancy care, emergency care, fertility care, surgical care, medical care and oncology care. NUH gynaecology provides a tertiary service for a number of subspecialties and there is also a large community gynaecology service.

Gynaecology sits within the Reproductive Health Directorate as part of the Family Health Division.

The Early Pregnancy Bereavement nurse will assist with providing caring, compassionate, and individualised care to bereaved families who have experienced miscarriage, or medical termination of pregnancy in pregnancy of up to 20 weeks. They will be an advocate for women and their families., The Early Pregnancy Bereavement nurse will provide evidence-based information and support to women and their families in line with Nottingham University Hospital's policies, the NMC Code and current public health guidance. Through effective clinical leadership and role modelling, to inspire, motivate and empower others.
