Early Years Educator (Apprenticeship)

Based in Redditch Rhymes Nursery prides itself on offering a warm and safe nursery environment with highly qualified staff. They are looking for a dedicated apprentice to join the established and enthusiastic team to complete a L3 early years educator apprenticeship with us. This role will involve; Caring for children aged from 0 - 5years Providing an enabling environment to support children's learning & development Completing regular observations to help support and promote learning & development Providing a safe and s Training Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Rhymes Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day. You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
  
  Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered through Rhymes Nursery's dedicated training provider, Realise., GCSE Maths/English grade 3 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship. Option for skills Bootcamp course to start accelerated apprenticeship at level 3 for the right candidate. Experience caring for young children preferred, must be willing to complete required training. Skills required Written and spoken English, basic I.T skills
