Early Years Educator Toddler Room West Hamstead

A wonderful private day nursery in West Hampstead, London NW2 are currently seeking to recruit a Early years Educator for the toddler room to join their established team of staff. You will be responsible for preparing a nurturing and fun learning environment. Your duties will include; recording and evaluating children's progress, supporting the development of early language, updating the records of your key children, and meet regularly to discuss their progress with their parents and other professionals where appropriate.

• NVQ3 in Early years Childcare
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a U.K children's nursery
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements
• Health & Safety & safeguarding practices
Requirement:
• Understanding children
• Knowledge of the EYFS
• Great people skills including the ability to communicate effectively with parents
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Competent IT skills (Word, email)
• Confidence to put in practice what you know
• Openness to be told/learn how to improve
• Empathy and patience for children who are not yet speaking, or are struggling to do something
• Great listening skills
• Problem-solving & positive can-do attitude
• Resilient (strong) yet also caring and great empathy
• Able to take constructive criticism
• Able to be self-reflective to constantly improve
  
  Salary: £24,000 per year
