Full Job Description

  • Engage with children to develop sustained, shared thinking, and promote the characteristics of effective learning, as defined in the EYFS framework
  • Prepare and maintain our learning environment
  • Carry out routine tasks to support the work of teacher, HLTAs and ATAs

    Level 2 Early Years Specific Professional Qualification is essential - we cannot accept general TA qualifications due to ratios.
  • Grade C/4 GCSE in Maths & English or equivalent

Around the school and in classrooms, staff have use a wide range of tools and strategies to support all children at all times. We do also work really closely with individual children and their families at times when things are perhaps more challenging. We do this with the help of our very own Play Therapist, Mel. Mel works at Sleights three days a week and has her very own play room in the school. We are committed to providing children with exciting, real life and practical learning opportunities.
