Ivy Mill Day Nursery, a unique family owned independent setting located in an idyllic village centre location in Liphook, Hampshire are recruiting for a Level 2, or Level 3 qualified Practitioner. We have designed a setting to inspire and captivate young minds and imaginations and we are seeking a team member to join us now at this exciting time of our progression. The Role: __

  • This is a full time position, with 40 hours per week across four 10 hour shifts, 8:00 - 18:00. (part time will also be considered) As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: To provide the highest standards of quality childcare and education. To ensure that health and safety, safeguarding and security measures are constantly maintained. To be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, policy and procedures. To contribute to a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children. To work in close partnership and to develop and maintain good relationships with parents and carers and other family members. Keep children's files up to date including photographs and observations Assist with planning a programme of activities, suitable for the age range of the children, following the guidelines for the implementation of the EYFS To ensure the provision of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development. To work as a member of the nursery team, showing initiative and creativity to foster an environment which encourages the children's all round development and where high standards of care are provided. Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery Adhere to all policies and procedures.
