Full Job Description

St Rose's provision is from 2 to 25 years; a nursery, a non-maintained special school for students from 5 to 19 and St Martin's an independent specialist college for students from 19 to 25. Our students have physical and sensory disabilities, learning and communication difficulties and complex health needs., We put our children at the centre of everything we do and as an early year's practitioner you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering excellent care and education to the children.

  • Ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of the children in your care.

  • Working alongside a team of fun practitioners to create an engaging environment enabling children to reach their full potential.

  • Planning, providing and supporting age-appropriate play opportunities in line with the curriculum and individual needs of the children in your care.

  • Foster positive working relationships with professionals from various teams, agencies, and providers in the local area to support positive outcomes for children and families.

  • Previous experience with children aged 0-5 and paediatric first aid is preferred. Experience with children with special educational needs and disabilities is an advantage.

    St Rose's nursery is an inspiring and inclusive nursery for children aged between two and five years old, with and without special educational needs and disabilities. We are looking for a fun and motivated Level 2 or 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about providing high quality care for children. You will join our wonderful team of friendly practitioners who and as part of our team, will be prepared to multitask, to use your initiative and to also know that you will laugh every day.
