The successful candidate will undertake assessments , signposting and evidence based psychological therapy to clients with an eating disorder., Recruitment selection processes are based on competence (see Person specification) and values.

    This is a newly created role from the transformation monies
    The successful candidate will hold a caseload of clients with a diagnosed eating disorder. They will provide Care Co-Ordination for those clients with the most complex difficulties. They will work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the development of therapeutic services within the Warrington and Halton and Trafford Eating Disorders Service. The post holder will take part in the ED Clinical Network and be a key contributor to the continued evolution of our care pathways and team working.
    Working in the Community Eating Disorders Team is an excellent environment. It has a good mix of staff, whose different skills and personalities are respected and valued. We adopt a pragmatic and open-minded approach to working with clients, drawing from formal training, supervision, team discussion and personal experience to try to give the patients the best outcomes we can. Working in Eating Disorders can be challenging as clients are often very stuck in their illnesses, but they are also capable of dramatic and full recoveries, which is a very rewarding thing to see.
