EC&I Engineer M / F

The Senior EC&I design engineer will be responsible for supporting the principal EC&I engineer in delivering one or more design projects or leading small EC&I project tasks with the support of other engineers. These designs will cover the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning. As a EC&I Engineer at Orano Limited, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks. This could include:

• Delivering design project deliverables. These designs will cover the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning.
• Poducing the required EC&I design documents and drawings to the standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project under supervision.
• Be responsible for the coordination, planning and delivery of designs in accordance with the required standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project.
  
  Ability to confidently liaise with external stakeholders and team members, both oral and written.
• Ability to independently seek out or develop one's own answer to challenging technical questions.
• Ability to organise one's own time and the time of others to ensure internal / external deadlines are achieved and Client expectations are exceeded.
• Minimum qualification for this role is an HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical or control engineering or similar engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years professional engineering/technical specialist experience.
• Experienced in interfacing with other technical disciplines is desirable.
• Previous experience in a Nuclear Site or other highly regulated site.
• Familiarity with AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.
• Familiarity with AutoCad design.
• Familiarity with BIM enabled projects.
The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK, and be willing to obtain SC clearance.
