Echocardiographer

To ensure the provision of a quality echo service

To take specific responsibility for the development of a one-stop echo service for patients attending cardiology appointments in the community setting

To provide teaching and support to other members of the team learning echocardiography

To work co-operatively and collaboratively with members of other professions and disciplines, ensuring the provision of a progressive learning environment for all staff

To contribute to the professional leadership of the technical staff within the service

We are recruiting a BSE accredited (or equivalent) physiologist, working independently in all areas of echocardiography, to join our consultant-lead team in a community based cardiac assessment clinic., STP / BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent

Relevant experience at Band 6 level

Evidence of on-going professional development, Experience in a broad range of cardiac physiological procedures such as ECG, ETT and echocardiography

We are an independent cardiology clinic offering rapid access to clinical consultations and advanced diagnostic investigations. Using the latest technology, we provide patients in the Northwest, and those further afield, with easy access to the very best cardiovascular care. We are currently working with NHS CCGs to provide community diagnostic hubs that will provide the highest standards of patient care away from large NHS hospitals, in a more personable and convenient community setting.
