Full Job Description
Universal Music Group is looking for an eCommerce Campaign Manager with experience across all biddable media channels - with particular speciality in the Meta, Google Ads & TikTok self-serve platforms. We are looking for someone that has a passion for eCommerce and performance media planning & buying, always looking for the smartest way to drive innovation through media plans to deliver best in class campaign set up and return on investment. This role is as much about eCommerce as it is about wider audience planning & campaign management as we need a candidate that can delve into 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data sources to understand their wider impact on ROAS and as well as understand best practise when it comes to creative strategy. We're looking for someone who can also independently work with the platforms to ensure best in class and technical innovation. This role is unique in market and an exciting challenge for anyone looking to expand their existing knowledge of biddable media in the eCommerce space. We need someone with an appetite and hunger to learn on the job, as well as the desire to upskill the wider team and business in the eCommerce & performance media space - someone able to go out into market and spend time with vendors to bring back new thinking and ideas that will continue to push the boundaries of what we do.,
- Manage successful implementation of all performance/response media campaigns for UMUK (e-comm, app download)
- Auditing and optimisation of all campaigns to ensure optimum delivery
- Working closely with eCommerce teams on planning, forecasting and reporting of performance related digital campaigns
- Demonstrate incremental revenue generated via ad spend
- Provide consultative support to media planners on audience strategy and best way to structure campaigns and plans
- Work closely with CRM teams to review how data is used across the business, to affect change within the marketing teams by using a data first approach
- End to end campaign management and optimisation across all demand side platforms and publishers including Meta, Google Marketing Platform, TikTok, Snapchat & more.
- Spend time with both new and existing vendors to understand the data within all platforms and how it can be utilised for buying
- Report digital marketing results regularly and provide recommendation to leadership and key stakeholders
- Work closely with Head of Media Intelligence & the data analytics team plus media planners to report performance insights that will affect strategy for new campaigns
- Escalating technical issues with suppliers and managing deadlines within this process
- Acting as an optimisation expert for each buying platform used, and regularly advising labels of additional planning opportunities
- An in depth understanding of modern tracking setups & attribution models, to ensure we're driving best in class conversion data and reporting accurately
High level understanding and experience of all Google Marketing Platform tools, with particular focus on Google Search, Google Shop & performance products - An understanding of all social advertising platforms, including but not limited to Meta, TikTok & Snapchat, with a particular focus on said platforms eCommerce products; such as TikTok Shop
- An understanding of the Shopify platform and associated eCommerce technologies
- Good understanding of digital media technologies and market in general.
- Ability to work independently with a hunger to learn more
- Analytical experience - evidence of having approached problems from a mathematical perspective and working through to a solution in a logical way.
