Full Job Description

Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, the Ecommerce Writer is responsible for writing, and in some cases managing, buying advice. This includes comprehensive buying guides, product reviews, spotlight deals and regular updates to core pages. You will ensure content is written and that the content they produce all follow audience and ecommerce team guidance. You will also be responsible for:

  • Update Buying Guides to the expected high standard of the brand.

  • Follow advice from central teams around structure of Buying Guides.

  • Discover and create content around deals.

  • Uploading review content to the site from freelancers.

  • Be an important contributor to ecommerce within the Space.com brand structure.

    An interest and knowledge in all things space and optics.

  • The ability to write good, clean copy about products and discounts.

  • A good contact booked within consumer technology is advantageous.

  • An understanding of the brands' subject matter & associated audiences

  • First-rate knowledge of editorial SEO and analytics packages

  • Experience producing high-quality, engaging, relevant digital content

    Buying advice is one of the key areas on the Space.com website, and we are on the lookout for an experienced and knowledgeable writer to join our ecommerce team., We're Future. We're 3000+ colleagues over 250+ brands speaking to 400 million people every month across the globe through websites, events and magazines. We've got ambitious plans that build on our growth momentum and unlock new opportunities and we're looking for talented people who want to be a part of it.
