Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an expanding team as a Career Grade Economic Regeneration and Projects Officer. Within the Major Projects Team, part of the East Midlands RTPI LPA Team of the Year, you will promote and manage economic development and regeneration initiatives within the borough. Implementing the council's Economic Regeneration Strategy and supporting the physical regeneration of the borough will be your main responsibilities. There will be scope to be involved in other projects and to make your mark on Hinckley and Bosworth, creating opportunities to establish high-quality jobs and ensure economic prosperity.

This career graded post is an excellent opportunity for an experienced officer or if you are just starting your career. Either way, we want to support and develop your skills to perform and progress as a professional officer. The post holder will be key in ensuring the delivery of a range of key regeneration projects and grant programmes. Working in partnership, the Economic Regeneration and Projects Officer will also support our employment and skills work and support engagement with local businesses.

Grade 5-7, £27,334 up to £40,221 per annum pro rata, dependant on experience (pay award pending)
37 hours per week (fixed term to June 2026), Benefits include flexible working options, generous pension scheme and annual leave plus bank holidays.
