Full Job Description

As an Economics Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, covering a range of economic principles and concepts.
Create a stimulating and interactive learning environment where students can develop their critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources, including current events, real-world examples, and technology, to bring economic theories to life.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and differentiated support to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
Contribute to the department's success by collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum, share best practices, and organize enriching extracurricular activities.

A Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
A strong understanding of the KS4 and KS5 Economics curriculum.
Experience teaching Economics in a secondary school setting.
