Full Job Description
- Develop and deliver engaging Economics lessons to students across Key Stages 4 and 5, fostering critical thinking and a deep understanding of economic principles.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters intellectual curiosity.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Social Sciences department to enhance curriculum development and contribute to extracurricular activities.
- Stay abreast of current economic trends and incorporate relevant real-world examples into your teaching practice.
Bachelor's degree in Economics or a closely related field. - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching Economics at the secondary level, preferably across Key Stages 4 and 5., Passionate about Economics and its practical applications, with a strong commitment to student success.
- Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Able to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment for students of all abilities.
