The Emergency department is looking for caring, enthusiastic and highlyorganised Admin Clerks to join our friendly Admin team. The team work avariety of shifts covering a 24 hr. period, 7days per week, 365 days per year. Therefore the ability to be able to work a variety of shifts i.e. early, late and night shifts is essential. The hours advertised are made up of two vacancies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work as a member of the team or individually along with the ability to use own initiative to solve problems as they a rise is crucial.

You will provide administration/reception cover to the department and work in association with the nursing staff, consultant teams, the public, management and staff from internal and external sources through the provision of clerical duties.

You will have experience in an administrative and reception role and becompetent in IT in the workplace. You would preferably have experience of shift work and have worked with the public in a customer services role.Attention to detail and accurate data capture is an essential part of thisposition.

We provide emergency and non-emergency services to the residents of East Surrey, North-East West Sussex, and South Croydon, including the major towns of Crawley, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill; a community of over 535,000 people. We provide acute and complex services and a range of outpatient, diagnostic services whilst Crawley Hospital and Horsham in West Sussex and Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Health Centre in Surrey provide less complex planned services.
