Full Job Description

To provide administrative support for the educational activities of the Faculty, in relation to Postgraduate Research students, under the direction of the Faculty Head of Student Administration and Student Administration Manager.
What will you be doing?
The post-holder will support the education processes of the Faculty from registration to post-graduation including but not limited to; registration, student records management, enquires and support to the Faculty Head of Student Administration, Student Administration Manager and Graduate Education Director for tasks relating to Postgraduate Research students. This role has a particular focus on overseeing visa engagement monitoring processes and the Annual Progress Monitoring process for research students, and managing suspension/extension/withdrawal/upgrade/change of circumstances processes.
This post also supports the wider work of the Faculty Education Team, in relation to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught studies, particularly around exam boards.
You should apply if
You will need to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the student lifecycle, IT, organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage a busy and diverse workload. You must enjoy working in and contributing to a team, contributing to shared goals and working flexibly across levels of study with a focus on customer service and delivery. You should have a key eye for detail, as well as the ability to handle and organise student information systematically and efficiently.
This role is not suitable for current or previous students (Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught or Postgraduate Research).
