Full Job Description

We are looking for an Area Support Manager to supervise a group of 12 schools including primary and secondary schools in Wolverhampton. Are you a Catering Manager with multi-site experience ready to make the next move in your career? Are you looking to develop your skills in operations and people management? Then we may have the role for you.

You will be responsible for ensuring that your schools are delivering to our high expectations when it comes to food quality and service. In addition to this, you will need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up and help the teams when needed to cover absence by cooking in our schools. You will report to the Operations Manager and support them with the people administration for your sites as well as ordering, stock take, audits and added value sessions such as taster sessions and Parents' Evenings. You will also be responsible for recruiting and developing your teams to ensure we have the right people in the right place.

  • Experience in education catering is preferred

  • This a mobile role looking after multiple sites so a driving licence and car are essential

    Salary - Up to 35,000 per annum (plus 3,660 per annum car allowance)

  • Hours - Monday to Friday and working term-time only plus up to 10 additional days as required
