Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a Medical Education Coordinator to join our dynamic and multi-professional Medical Education team. The post is offered on a permanent basis. The role is full-time and will be based at Charing Cross Hospital.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Postgraduate Medical Education Manager and Medical Education Administrator to support the provision of medical education across the Trust. The post-holder will be responsible for supervising the Education Centre at Charing Cross Hospital and its activities. The post-holder will be line managed by the Postgraduate Education Manager and will supervise the Postgraduate Education Administrator. The Medical Education Coordinator role provides a great opportunity to work closely with a wide range of colleagues within the Trust, both clinical and clerical, as well as with doctors in training and consultants. The appointee will therefore need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organisational and planning skills, and be able to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support whilst meeting multiple deadlines. The post allows for a range of skills to be utilised, making it a varied and
enjoyable role for someone who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a busy team., Provide an efficient and comprehensive senior administrative support to the Medical Education department, always maintaining a high professional standard and ensuring efficient and effective support is provided.

- Contribute to positive experiences for doctors in training through helpful support and administration.

- Proactively plan and coordinate requirements for doctors in training.

- To manage and prioritise a busy workload for the specific allocated work stream using a high level of initiative. To demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with a wide range of NHS staff and external agencies/organisations.
