Full Job Description

+ Lead educational activities to support the learning around the waste hierarchy and to raise awareness of waste management in Cornwall.
+ Assist in the development and delivery of waste minimisation and recycling campaigns, talks, roadshows and educational programmes.
+ Manage the visitor centre booking system and support with the promotion of tours.
+ Assist the Community Liaison Manager in report writing for internal and external audiences.
+ Help to coordinate and deliver events that promote waste minimisation and recycling.
+ Identify news items suitable for the Cornwall website and SUEZ life magazine.
+ Assist the Community Liaison Manager with the drafting of press releases
+ Prepare materials for and attend meetings and talks for community groups.
+ Attend community liaison meetings and draft minutes.

+ Strong verbal and written communication abilities
+ Proficient in presenting information clearly to diverse audiences
+ Customer service experience
+ Educated to A' level or above
+ Ability to build and maintain relationships with community members, internal and external stakeholders.
+ Empathy and active listening skills to understand the needs of various stakeholders.
+ Ability to analyse and reflect on educational programmes and outcomes
+ Use of data to inform decision making and improve educational practices
+ Strong planning and time management skills
+ Capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
+ A proficient working knowledge of Office 365
+ Must hold a UK driving licence and have access to their own transport
