Education and Events Tutor

The Job: This post is an opportunity to work as part of Kent Wildlife Trust's education team to deliver outstanding educational visits and events across Kent, ensuring high quality learning experiences. You: You will be an enthusiastic team player with a desire to share your passion for the great outdoors with others, especially young people. You will have a responsible attitude, showing common sense, especially regarding working with children, and have a flexible approach and willingness to work with other staff, tutors and volunteers. Do you:

• Have an interest in nature and environmental issue and a passion for sharing your enthusiasm with others?
• Have some experience of running nature-related visits or environmental activities?
• Have an understanding of Health and Safety procedures and risk assessments, especially with regard to working with children?
• Understand the importance of planning and documentation, such as lesson planning and assessments?
• Have the ability to work as part of a team but also independently?
