Full Job Description
The Job: This post is an opportunity to work as part of Kent Wildlife Trust's education team to deliver outstanding educational visits and events across Kent, ensuring high quality learning experiences. You may also be interested in the advertised Wilder Wellbeing facilitator role, as advertised on our jobs page, which involves delivering education and events for Kent Wildlife Trust.
You: You will be an enthusiastic team player with a desire to share your passion for the great outdoors with others, especially young people. You will have a responsible attitude, showing common sense, especially regarding working with children, and have a flexible approach and willingness to work with other staff, tutors and volunteers. Do you:
- Have an interest in nature and environmental issue and a passion for sharing your enthusiasm with others?
- Have some experience of running nature-related visits or environmental activities?
- Have an understanding of Health and Safety procedures and risk assessments, especially with regard to working with children?
- Understand the importance of planning and documentation, such as lesson planning and assessments?
- Have the ability to work as part of a team but also independently?
