Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Education and Learning Coordinator to join our forward thinking and friendly multi-professional education team.
The role is vital in ensuring the commissioning of CPD programmes and other educational activities with both internal and external partners are organised and delivered to stringent timescales.
We are looking for an individual with administrative and experience in the use of Virtual Learning management platforms and Microsoft Office systems (word, excel etc.). Duties will include monitoring and responding to learners' enquiries, dissemination of information to managers, staff and learners.
The post holder will be attending and taking minutes of education meetings, submitting month end finance report and liaising with other colleagues across the Trust in the wider context of Education.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination and organisation of administrative processes involving CPD commissioning to support the education and learning team. Proven administrative skills including project management and minute taking are essential.
The Education and Learning Coordinator role is designed to lead on CPD commissioning processing and provide general business administration and project support for the education and learning team including supervising others ensuring that workloads are manageable and that tasks are delivered to the required timescales and quality for the function. Produce high quality, comprehensive and accurate documentation and correspondence as required in line with agreed deadlines and processes demonstrating excellent communication skills and a professional approach at all times. To coordinate CPD commissioning activities, manage and attend a variety of meetings and events, making appropriate arrangements for venues/rooms, catering and equipment, preparing all necessary paperwork and taking minutes where required. Be responsible for monitoring and maintaining action logs and coordinating evaluation of events where appropriate. To use sound project management approaches to ensure that projects and
programmes are monitored and well managed working with high attention to detail and preparing data on activities associated with the function. To respond to queries from stakeholders both internal and external via a variety of methods ensuring a high quality of customer service is maintained at all times.
North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system - consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. As with other ICS's, we are working increasingly closely with partners and indeed many of our financial and performance objectives are measured at this system level. To ensure that office finance and information systems are accurately and contemporaneously maintained, quality assuring data working with a high attention to detail and innovatively to ensure optimum efficiency. Key member of the education and learning team with specific responsibility for the administration and co-ordination of all CPD activities within the Trust.
Process all education commissioned related invoices for the education and learning department and prepare for onward authorisation in a timely manner.Maintaining and updating CPD commissioning databases on a weekly basis.
Oversee the purchase and order of stationery/equipment for the departmentas required in order to ascertain Purchase Order numbers for invoicing.
To work with autonomy, prioritise effectively and use initiative to deliver to target, problem solving issues as they arise and communicating effectively with managers to ensure appropriate and timely solutions.To always demonstrate leadership and professional conduct in line with the organisations values and behaviours and to work flexibly to support the delivery of business objectives. Flexibility is a necessity to meet the demands of the department and the post holder will sometimes be required to work outside of normal rota hours including weekends.
