Full Job Description

  • Ensure that all education, learning and development (E,L&D) initiatives are aligned with the company's corporate and operational goals.
  • Lead and mentor the L&D team, ensuring effective execution of learning programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Company Apprenticeships programmes.
  • Facilitate senior leadership courses
  • Develop and implement corporate training programs that effectively enhance the skills and competencies of employees.
  • Use E,L&D programs to improve overall employee performance, experience and productivity.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organisation.
  • Work with the Global L&D Design team to maintain consistency and quality across all training programs.
  • Utilise data and feedback to measure the effectiveness of E,L&D programs and make necessary improvements.
  • Efficiently manage the E,L&D budget and resources to maximize impact.
  • Explore and implement innovative learning technologies and methodologies to keep training programs progressive, current and effective.
  • What Team will I be a part of? Part of the UK & Ireland People Leadership Team, reporting into the Chief People Officer Who are my customers? You will partner closely with the People Team, the broader business, Department of Education, Global and local executive and leadership teams, students and Franchisees.

    What background do I need to have?
  • Experience in Education, Learning & Development, with a strong understanding of and experience implementing effective training programs.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Experience working in hospitality, retail and/or food and beverage industries is desire
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with ability to create and communicate compelling messages to a range of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms, digital learning tools, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong project management skills (overseeing multiple training programs and initiatives.)
  • Demonstrate a genuine desire and capacity to understand and relate to others.
