Full Job Description

The role involves overseeing and managing key educational programmes for 999 and the London Ambulance Service Emergency Operations Centres (EOC).

This is an exciting opportunity to promote and develop non-patient-facing clinical education supporting a streamlined service to patients across London.

This position plays a pivotal role in the collaboration and networking of departments across the London Ambulance Service and with our external stakeholders., The post-holder will be responsible for providing clear, effective day to day management and leadership for the delivery of professional/technical education and development activity for staff within the 999 Control Services as part of the Integrated Patient Care Services.The post-holder will be responsible for managing the function of the Education Centre and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of the formal education and training activities. The post holder will manage, support and mentor the teaching staff, and provide management and leadership to centre staff and learners.The post holder will monitor all trainer development activities and contribute to development of education and development courses.As a member of the Clinical Education and Standards Department, the post holder will be actively involved in promoting best clinical practice within the Service.
