The teams have good links with the wider NHS CAMHS network and school staff. In addition to their usual clinical work, EMHPs and CWPs are offered opportunities to take on a team lead role, undertake an audit if they are interested in doing so and / or take on a mentoring role for new trainees. We take a keen interest in ensuring that both professions remain on a steep learning curve in order to remain happy and fulfilled in their roles and have increasing options for career development within the service., Postholders will work primarily with parents of primary school aged children and young people referred by secondary schools, providing low-intensity interventions for anxiety, depression or behavioural difficulties.

- The ability to work cohesively and collaboratively both within a small team and within the wider school cluster
- Ability to work independently in schools while understanding your own limits
