Full Job Description

We are proud to announce the opening of our new school, Grove Road School, in Sutton in September 2024. This new specialist school will cater for students aged 11-19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), supporting up to 45 pupils. As we prepare to open the doors in Autumn 2024, we are looking for a dynamic leader who shares our core values: Compassionate, Inspiring, Dependable, and Collaborative.   • Proven experience as a Head Teacher or in a senior leadership role in a SEND environment.
  • Strong understanding of the School Improvement process, curriculum models, and Independent School Standards.
  • Ability to motivate, support, and inspire staff and pupils using a person-centred approach.
  • A 'can do' attitude, with the drive to lead the school towards an outstanding Ofsted rating.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
