Full Job Description

As a Residential Support Worker, you'll play a key role in helping young people thrive in all aspects of daily life within our homes, including:

  • Encouraging Hobbies and Social Activities: Supporting young people in continuing hobbies, building friendships, and developing new skills.
  • Daily Routines: Assisting with morning routines to ensure a positive start to the day, including breakfast and getting ready for school.
  • Creating a Relaxing Environment: Preparing evening meals and providing a safe, supportive space for relaxation at home.
  • Empowering Potential: Helping young people realise their full potential and embrace new opportunities.

    You'll work in a reflective, relationship-based, and person-centred manner as part of a small, supportive team. This role includes a mix of day, evening, night, weekend, and bank holiday shifts.
