This role will see you delivering education to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As we continue to grow, we need talented individuals like you to support our students' success. Role: In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing the Princes Trust framework, helping to inspire and nurture our young people so they can fully benefit from all the opportunities this programme offers. Brewood School: Brewood School is a co-educational, independent specialist day school offering high-quality education for secondary-aged boys and girls. We cater to a diverse group of students with SEN, including speech, language, and communication difficulties, autism, ADHD, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and SEMH. Responsibilities:

  • Be an exceptional classroom practitioner who can inspire and engage students.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and creating a supportive, inclusive community.
  • Plan dynamic, engaging lessons that cater to various learning styles.
  • Understand and adhere to Ofsted requirements and uphold the school's core values.
  • Take initiative in promoting good behaviour and a love for learning.
  • Have experience working with students with challenging behaviour/SEMH needs.
  • Have knowledge of delivering subject specialisms to GCSE level within SEN settings.

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching PSHE at the secondary level.
  • Expertise in working within SEN/SEMH settings.
  • Strong understanding of child safeguarding.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging lessons tailored to a diverse range of learners.
