Full Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Teacher to join our exceptional Alternative Learning Team in the Stoke-on-Trent area. We support young people who struggle to engage in traditional school settings, providing short-term, personalised programmes, blending in-home tutoring with online learning for pupils aged 5-19 across the UK. Our team of Teachers benefits from the robust support of our Director of Curriculum, Headteachers, SENCos, Operational Directors, and Managing Director of Education Services, along with our extensive therapeutic team.   • Support the educational and social development of our students
  • Work with children who have SEN or who have faced challenges in school settings
  • Deliver personalised 1:1 or small group lessons in community settings
  • Tailor teaching to meet each student's unique needs
  • Driver's Licence: Access to a vehicle for teaching at students' homes or in community-based settings

    Qualifications: QTS or QTLS
  • Experience: Proven teaching experience, including safeguarding and child protection knowledge
  • Passion for SEN/SEMH: Especially beneficial if experienced in working with SEN/SEMH students on a 1:1 or small group basis
